All of our routes are optimally planned so we can offer as many deliveries as possible within the dedicated timeslots. We are therefore unable to offer specific guarantees or take requests about when in a slot your order will be delivered. However, once the vehicle has been loaded you will be advised where your drop is in the routing and sent a link to track the vehicle once it is on its way to your site.
All deliveries have to be signed for however, this does not have to be the person who placed the order. By prior arrangement and where confirmed in writing by the customer to the branch, we are willing to leave goods without a signature. In this instance, Tippers accepts no liability for any consequences resulting from this delivery.
After placing your order, our team will process the order and will contact you with options for delivery days and time slots. On the day of your delivery, the driver will call you when they are 30 minutes away from your delivery (if requested and able).
If you wish to cancel your order you can do so at any time by contacting the branch. Please note that depending on when you cancel the order, you could incur additional costs.
We will always do our utmost to accommodate any amendments however if the request may have an impact on safe loading or negatively impact our delivery promise to other customers we will be unable to process the amendment.

All our routes are carefully planned and operated by our own fleet of vehicles meaning we should never be late. However, if in the unlikely event we do run late we will contact you as soon as we are aware of the delay so you are kept up to date. If as a result of delay you wish to cancel your order, you can do so and receive a full refund, including any delivery charges. Please note a delivery is only considered late if the vehicle arrives after the end of the chosen delivery slot.
If there has been no prior arrangement to leave the goods without a signature, we will try to contact you in the first instance. If we are unable to make contact in a reasonable amount of time we will return the items back to the branch. Please be aware that if the order is then canceled a restocking fee may apply. See our cancellations policy. If a re-delivery is requested an additional delivery charge will be required before the items can be redelivered.
Generally speaking, we can deliver within a 10-mile radius of any of our branches. However, there are notable exceptions to this rule and on occasion, we do deliver much further than this. Please enquire directly with your local branch.
If you are expecting a delivery which has not arrived, please get in touch with the branch you ordered your goods with. You can find a full list of contact details on our Store Locator page. They will be able to get in touch with the driver for you.
Before offering you any delivery slots we check your order for its weight, size and travel time to be sure the vehicle can complete the drop in the delivery slot window. We therefore only show you delivery time slots that we are sure we can achieve. We show delivery slot dates up to 2 weeks into the future. If we are not showing any slots it is likely you are outside our delivery zone. Please see our Delivery Zones and Charges section for more details.
All items delivered by a Tippers Heavy Goods Vehicle will be delivered to the kerbside. Our friendly delivery drivers will do everything they can to accommodate on-site requests however safety is our number one priority and this may restrict our ability to deliver your materials if we deem the delivery location to be unsafe.
Please make us aware at the point of order, of any delivery requirements or restrictions so we can ensure we send the most appropriate vehicle. We do not accept any liability for the consequences resulting from the positioning of large items by the delivery driver.
