DriftDek Range offers non-capped boards and they would continue to weather once installed. It would take around 3-5 months for the full weathering to occur, and the boards would see some colour pigmentation change as well as marks/spots from the elements of the surround. Those marks would weather with boards creating a natural surface image but they would be part of the image of the boards DuoDek is a capped product which means there is a thin polymer layer on the surface with UV stabiliser, so those boards have improved stability to fading and staining. They would weather slightly but not as much as the non-capped products , therefore they also come with longer warranty.
